How to setup your modem ?

 


To set up your modem, follow these steps:

  1. Unbox your modem and connect the power cable.
  2. Connect the coaxial cable from your wall outlet to the coax port on the modem.
  3. Connect an Ethernet cable from one of the Ethernet ports on the modem to an Ethernet port on your computer.
  4. Turn on your modem and your computer.
  5. Wait for the modem to start up. This may take a few minutes.
  6. Once the modem is started up, open a web browser on your computer.
  7. In the address bar, type the IP address of your modem. This is typically 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1.
  8. You will be prompted to enter a username and password. This information is typically included in the documentation that came with your modem.
  9. Once you have logged in, you will be able to configure your modem settings. This may include setting up your internet connection, changing your wireless password, and more.
  10. Once you have finished configuring your modem, click the "Save" button.
  11. Your modem is now set up and you should be able to connect to the internet.
