How to setup your router ?

To set up your router, follow these steps:

  1. Place your router in a central location in your home. This will help to ensure that all of your devices have a good signal.
  2. Connect the power adapter to your router and plug it into an outlet.
  3. Connect an Ethernet cable from the WAN port on your router to the LAN port on your modem.
  4. Turn on your router and modem.
  5. Wait for your router to start up. This may take a few minutes.
  6. Connect to your router's Wi-Fi network. You can usually find the network name and password on the bottom or back of your router.
  7. Once you are connected to your router's Wi-Fi network, open a web browser on your computer.
  8. In the address bar, type the IP address of your router. This is typically 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1.
  9. You will be prompted to enter a username and password. This information is typically included in the documentation that came with your router.
  10. Once you have logged in, you will be able to configure your router settings. This may include changing your wireless password, creating a guest network, and more.
  11. Once you have finished configuring your router, click the "Save" button.
  12. Your router is now set up and you should be able to connect to the internet on all of your devices.
