With Libre office will help you manipulating text and data, and presenting for works office purpose, make Letter, agenda, fax, presentation, even writing books and e-book and covert it to pdf file.  Create html documents, send document via email and bluetooth.

Installing Wine for Running Windows Application in Linux

Wine software is interface between application software that running on windows os to application that running on Linux OS.
You can install wine from the official website https://www.winehq.org/  ,
Go to Download section, click

 

Go to Open Suse section, click

 Click on Open Suse, if you use open suse Linux, and choose another operating system that suitable.

Choose Open Suse version, in this case Open Suse 13.1 
or installing wine from YAST. YAST is menu manager configure hardware or software of Open Suse Linux.

 Click YaST

Enter Su Super User Password, the password when you install Linux.

I installed Open Suse Linux on my notebook , sony vaio . I used OpenSuse Harlequin i586 version 13.2 . Instead of using windows operating systems, i am prefer using Linux or Unix OS. Because there so much alternative Operating System offered and it's all free and not easily affected by computer virus or bugs. And  a friend of mine using windows operating system and browser such as internet explorer and others such as chrome, mozilla, opera under windows operating system , there is problem with pop ads in browser , and it is really annoying and make the PC running slowly. Although, I have download ad blocker for mozilla, but it still not works, cause the annoying ads still come up.
and compare to linux, there is not such these problems.

although linux using open source software, there are many windows os software that can run in linux open suse with Wine software. Wine software can make software based on windows os run in linux os.

 later we will discuss how to using wine and download and running software with os windows operating system on linux.

linux running with low specification of hardware, and you can running your old pc 386,486 with linux and unix, with several limitation of application , if you using application software with big ram requirement. i am not experiment yet using graphical processing software such blended , etc.
what i want to show you, how linux can help me and you for running and helping your everyday works in office using libre office word processing and spreadsheet. with email and processing your document for everyday works.


Using Libre Office, the menu is user friendly, I am no problem switch from ms office to libre office, is the same office and function, and it support ms word 97 for saving my file and can convert to pdf also.support ms office 97/2000/xp/2003 document saving.
